The Rodrigo Caro Gardens have an extremely wide range of plant specimens from the Mediterranean's various climatic regions. In contrast to the city's other green spaces, the groups here are not ordered by producing phyto-episodes or natural spaces recreating the landscapes of every geographical area with a temperate climate. Instead, the plants are arranged along the banks so they adapt to the land's profile and hilly terrain.
These gardens have as many as 80 different aromatic, perennial grass species and nineteen tree species.
